Meet Dr. Walter
Dr. Bradley N. Walter, a native of Michigan, graduated with Honors from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky in 1990. He completed his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Walter completed his orthopedic residency at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. After 11 years in the bitter cold, Dr. Walter moved his family to beautiful Thomasville, Georgia where he has been a vibrant part of the community for more than two decades. He is a board certified, orthopedic surgeon who is licensed to practice in Georgia and Florida. Dr. Walter and his wife, Jackie, recently celebrated their 29th anniversary. Together they have raised 7 children, 5 sons and two daughters, the youngest three are triplets. Dr. Walter has three sons at the Medical College of Georgia in medical school, one son who is an accomplished sport climber, and one son who serves in the U.S. Air Force. He also has two daughters at UGA majoring in Occupational Therapy and Interior Design and one daughter in law, Maggie, who is a Program Specialist with the Healthy Marriage and Relationship Education Project at UGA. Dr. Walter is a proud supporter of CURE International and has traveled to both Haiti and the Dominican Republic to perform surgeries and assist with orthopedic care for children in third world communities.

- Has performed more anterior (minimally invasive muscle sparing) hip replacements than any other surgeon in the region
- Has successfully completed over 2000 anterior hip replacement procedures
- ASI Course Clinical Faculty: Dr. Walter has been an instructor at 16 anterior hip replacement courses throughout the United States
- Has hosted numerous orthopedic surgeons from across the region to observe the anterior approach technique
- Holds three orthopedic patents: Neck Sparing Total Hip Implant System, Neck Sparing Total Hip Implant Methods (Patent Pending), Center Mounts Hip Elevator (Prototype in Production)
