Joe Baugham, PA-C, ATC is a native of Macon, Georgia. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Berry College in Rome, GA. He then moved to Chattanooga, TN, where he earned a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Mr. Baugham continued his education at South College in Knoxville, TN, where he completed a Masters of Health Science in Physician Assistant studies and graduated as a member of the Pi Alpha honor society.
Before starting PA school, Mr. Baugham was an athletic training intern at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports in 2010 where he assisted in the medical coverage of many professional, amateur and club sports teams. From 2011-2014 he served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at UTC for their D-1 football and wrestling teams. Mr. Baugham joined Dr. Walter in 2017 and is currently certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistance (PA-C) and the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (ATC). He is licensed by the State of Georgia as a Physician Assistant.
